How food crisis can be solved?

Food crisis is going to be main cause of human extinction. Better we start preparing for that. In my opinion one of the major cause this problem is our eating habits. Humans have tendency to eat food which costs more resources per unit to produce. Let me illustrate.

To produce one unit of meat say a chicken which takes about 42 days as per the use of latest technology to rear them uses 10 unit of grains. Meaning if you are consuming 1 pound of meat it costs 10 pounds of plants to create them. On top of that they need water and  eletricity at these poultry farms which is an added costs. So, to sum up if one person stops eating meat means he is saving 10 units of plants per unit of his consumption. So think about all the people who are starving in world before choosing your food. Stop promoting things which will lead us to disastrous circumstances.

Another aspect to it is the amount which we are producing is not enough to sustain. Meaning less and less people are producing and more and more people are consuming. This imbalance is dangerous. We all have to do our part in growing food for others.
